Short Sunday - Day 6 - Final Day

This morning we all woke up at ate some yummy pancakes for breakfast. We didn't have a lot of time left at my sister's house, so we quickly got packed up so we could enjoy the rest of our visit. When the time came, we all set off for church. It was really nice to attend Josh and Bethany's church again, and the kids did a really great job. They just sat there and were quiet, which is all I can ask for. We left immediately after church in order to get back in time for the set appointment to meet their dad. The one thing we weren't expecting was having to deal with Ragbrai. If any of you aren't sure what Ragbrai is, it is an annual bike ride across the state of Iowa. It is a huge deal, and thousands of people come for it. They happened to be going on part of our route home, so we had to take a detour, but we still managed to make it home in good time. We brought the kids to their house, unloaded our things, and went on our way. And that was the end of my week with the kids.
