Hello, one and all! My name is Lindsay. I have been married since 2012, and was so incredibly blessed to become a mother to two siblings through adoption after nearly a decade of infertility and loss.
I have found that while I am generally open vocally, there are some things that I just feel more comfortable writing about. The way I truly feel about things, my opinions on social or spiritual issues, all of these things are much better written than spoken. When writing things down you have the option of editing what you say, whereas when speaking, it is all too easy to let your mouth run away with you.

That being said, I hope you can treat my opinions with respect, despite where your opinion stands.
I try to view every situation as a life experience, and that is partly where my blog title comes from. The experiences I have had have been so incredible and such a blessing that often times I just can't help but share it with others.
I believe that God "works all things together for good, for those who love God and are called according to His purpose." This does not mean that everything is good. There are many terrible things out there, but if you are trusting God with your life, and live in a way that gives glory to Him, everything WILL work out.
I can't tell you how many stories I've heard of people who were grateful for the hardships in their lives, because that enabled them to be a witness in others' lives. Also, it is when we go through the trials that we are forced to lean on Christ as our only strength. Many people state that God 'doesn't give us more than we can handle', but that isn't true in my opinion; but rather, God gives us more than we can handle on our own. He wants us to fully rely upon Him.
Anyway, this blog is just my way of being able to express some of the things that God is doing in my life, and where He is bringing me. I'm sure you will see my faults and imperfections, but what better way to remember how great a savior I have who is greater than all my sin and shame? I hope to bring something worthy of your time, and most importantly, thoughts that will only honor and glorify Him.
